Raiders FBI Files

          This replica prop is a screen accurate portrayal of the FBI files where the Federal agents reveal information to Indy about the lost Ark of the Covenant. The olive drab folder has the accurate markings on the outer cover, including the 1936 US Army Intelligence Seal. Inside you will find two letters from the Office of US Army Intelligence in yellow parchment. One is the intercepted Nazi radio transmission along with a top secret photo of the “dig” that is under way. The other letter, which is four pages long, tells the story about the Nazi involvement and how the agents can contact Dr. Jones. There are three other equally important document profiles that accompany this top secret file and are printed on beige parchment. They are: Dr. Rene Belloq’s mercenary involvement, Colonel Herman Dietrich the German officer and Major Arnold Toht the Nazi agent. All have been professionally printed in layers to give that “realistic appearance” and each profile is accompanied by a photo of the suspect.
Here’s what’s included:
  • The olive drab cover, four photos with paper clips and five detailed letters totaling eleven sheets in all!
  • Letter #1  is a single sheet from the Office of the U.S. Army Intelligence dated April 9, 1936, printed in yellow parchment and measuring 8.5” wide X 11” high (21.6CM wide X 27.9CM high)
    • A classified labeled photo of the “dig” by the German army.
  • Letter #2 comes from the FBI and is signed by J. Edgar Hoover. It tells the story about Belloq’s involvement in this ordeal. These two letters are printed in beige parchment and each measures 8.5” wide X 11” high (21.6CM wide X 27.9CM high)
  • A photo of the mercenary Belloq is paper clipped.
  • A photo of the German officer Dietrich is clipped on.
  • A photo of the High Risk Major Toht is also clipped to the letters.
  • Letter #3 also from the FBI and signed by J. Edgar Hoover, tells the story about Colonel Dietrich. These two letters are printed in beige parchment and each measures 8.5” wide X 11” high (21.6CM wide X 27.9CM high)
  • Letter #4 which is from the FBI and signed by J. Edgar Hoover, involves Major Toht’s role. These two letters are printed in beige parchment and each measures 8.5” wide X 11” high (21.6CM wide X 27.9CM high)
  • Letter #5 is a four page letter from the Office of the U.S. Army Intelligence and perhaps the most interesting read of all. These four sheets are printed in yellow parchment and each measures 8.5” wide X 11” high (21.6CM wide X 27.9CM high)
