This highly sought after replica prop of Henry Jones, Jr. (Indiana Jones) US Passport with 15 FREE inserts. This outstanding Replica Prop Passport has taken many months of research and creativity to complete. It is based on an authentic 1936 American Passport. The outer cover has the period accurate gold eagle and die cut slot to view the passport number on page 1. It also features the burgundy textured of the cover, which was very hard to duplicate along with the micro writing security watermark on every page. See the photos and compare.
The passport along with the all inserts has been designed so it follows the travels of Indiana Jones throughout all three movies. It starts out with Indy traveling to Peru. The letter that comes to him from the Museum of Peruvian Antiquities is an eye opener. If you already own our Belloq French passport, this letter ties in with that one, which the same person wrote to Belloq as well. Then you are equipped with the boarding pass, which Indy uses to fly inside the Pan-Am clipper, a Boeing 314 on his way to Nepal. There are more inserts that give clues to the whereabouts of the Ark of the Covenant, including illustrations, photos and a ripped page from Abner’s Journal!
Next travel with Indy as he nearly escapes Lao Che. When you read the accompanying letter written in Chinese with a typed English translation you will feel as though you are part of the action! Lastly follow Indy in the Last Crusade as he learns revealing information from his father from a telegram. Use the newspaper clipping along with other inserts to reveal where the location of the Holy Grail Cup! Without revealing too much information this is the most entertaining and exciting replica prop that we have ever produced!
The inner pages are designed so that some numbers and rubber stamps are purposely cut off the pages; there are stress lines, minor tears, veins, which are similar to real passports and add character to this replica prop. In order to make one of these replica props takes 63 steps of fabrication! There are a total of 32 pages, of which 25 of them have stampings on them along with 16 “glued on” duty tax stamps. The passport measures: 3.625” wide X 6.25” high X 3/8” thick (9.2cm wide X 15.9cm high X 0.95cm thick).
Each page is printed double sided with an industrial Laser Jet book printer on heavy bond paper for detail. Since these replica passports are entirely assembled by hand, there are some minor variations to each of them making them completely one of a kind. Some key features to note, the signature and writing on the inside cover are handwritten with actual ink and not printed. This gives the passport a unique character. On page #2 the red seal has a security imprinted raised seal of the American eagle. On page #3 Indy’s photo features his handwritten signature as well as the security stamps. Photo # 8 shows the period accurate string and stitching pattern used to bind the entire passport together. Once you see the passport yourself, you'll feel like you could have traveled with it as Indiana Jones!
